I might be beating a dead horse, but thank you for psoting this!
I have hep C and I want a tattoo, what doess the artist need to do to protect them selves?? and what do I need to do??
Thanks for writing. “Universal precaution” procedures used by professional tattoo artists (and the medical field at large) should prevent any exposure issues to others. Keeping good contact with you own physician for the Hep C is also important as you will want to be your “healthiest” when having the procedure. Good Luck!!
