Celebrity Tattoo Advice

TV and movie stars are also giving advice about tattoos. Many celebrities have tattoos and their fans frequently copy them because they believe their tattoos are sexy, cool, macho, or trendy. Celebrities are also getting tattoos removed, and this new trend is usually not getting the media attention it deserves.

Mark Wahlberg was on the David Letterman Show discussing his tattoo removal experience.

Here is Kelly Osbourne. . .

In other news. . .

Ozzy Osbourne had this to say to his daughter Kelly Osbourne about tattoos:

  • “I doubt anyone’ll notice because every other f-cking kid on the beach will have the exact same thing.”
  • “They’re so common, they ain’t as special as they used to be.”
  • When his daughter Kelly said she wanted a tattoo, he told her, “Take it from me, you’ll grow up to regret it.” He was right. “Lo and f-cking behold, she regrets it.” (Kelly had 15 tattoos removed by laser)
  • “It’s all well being a hot chick with ink, but when you’re 60 and your spider’s all faded and wrinkly, trust me, you’ll wish you’d never have done it.”

please excuse the language, but its a direct quote.

Megan Fox is removing the ‘Marilyn’ tattoo

This isn’t exactly advice, but it looks like Megan Fox (The Transformers movie) is getting her famous Marilyn Monroe tattoo removed. Photographers, who don’t miss much, have seen a noticeable fading in the Marilyn Monroe tattoo on her right forearm. She has had no comment, but the fading is undeniable. Too bad everyone doesn’t have access to the money it costs to remove tattoos. It’s really easier, and cheaper, to put a little more thought into it. One down, and three to go. . .

Here are some other celebrity tattoos, or celebrities as tattoos. . .

An Erykah Badu concert in Malaysia was recently canceled because of a tattoo the the Muslim majority believed was offensive to the population. The tattoo in question was temporary and said “Allah.” Apparently, you should also put a lot of thought into temporary tattoos as well.

There’s no way to honestly ansewr most your questions because how effective (quickly) the laser works seems to vary from person to person. Some people only need 7-10 sessions and their small tattoo is pretty much all gone with no scarring. Meanwhile, another person might still have a blotchy faded tattoo with noticeable scaring after 10-12 sessions. One of my friends paid over $3000 for 12 sessions and her tattoo wasn’t even half gone. She did say it was pretty painful, but the laser sessions don’t take long, so they’re over really fast. The scarring she got looked like skin pigment destruction. She’s got an olive skin tone (she’s Italian) and the area had countless small spots of bleached white skin that wouldn’t ever get darker again. My advice would be, make sure you have the money to finish it if you start it. The last thing you want is to get 10 sessions in and half a heavily aged faded tattoo that needs 4-8 more sessions then run out of money. Then you’re stuck with a horrible looking tattoo that you hate instead of one that atleast looks nicely done that you don’t want.Go ahead and plan for the worse and hope for the best. Also, please..do NOT waste your money on those tattoo removal creams. They do not work.

tattoo removal cream?HI, i got a atttoo 3 weeks ago that the guy just completely messed up some of the lines just don’t line up and one side of the wing is pointed and the other side is round so there’s really no fixing it, anyways i looked into laser removal and it’s like 1200+ so i started looking into at home methods the ones i see with the best reviews are tat b gone and atttoo off i was wondering if any of you guys had any experience with these and what about that tca treatment anyone ever do that? thanks guysi already talked to a guy about fixing it and the outline is blue so he said he’d have to do it in black to fix the lines but that would totally change the look of the atttoo, it’s just like jennifer nettle’s and i definetely don’t wanna cover it up i’ve been waiting forever to get it, but he told me if i could just fade it a little then i’d have more options color wise

i personally hanvet had it done yet but I have alot of close friends that have. They do say its much more painfull then the actual tattoo procedure (about ten times more painfull) and is a bit pricey. However the question you need to ask is can you stand looking at the piece for the rest of your life? Theres other alternatives such as a cover-up. As far as sessions the best example I can give is I know a cat that had his last name across his back. Solid, dark black. Done with high quality ink after one session its now light enough to easily cover. And another thing to take in consideration is that even though extremely painfull it is over in about 2 seconds literally. Hope this helps!
